Regular Yoga Practice

We work progressively to build strength, suppleness, flexibility.

It matters not whether you have never done yoga before or you are an experienced yogi who wants to delve deeper into your practise as all sessions are designed to help you to inform your body of it’s capabilities, challenge where appropriate and work within your limits.

When on retreat we have two yoga sessions a day, one first thing in the morning, by the pool and one early evening including meditation. A truly restorative practise helping you to listen to your body and your needs, aligning physical and mental serenity through stillness.

Restorative yoga deeply relaxes the body and stills the mind.It boosts the immune system and balances the nervous system. We are often running on the "fight or flight" sympathetic nervous system. This then becomes dominant and it begins to feel 'normal" This is when we may find ourselves in adrenal exhaustion.
